The Kahului Ale House is a male air-conditioned haven of TV screens large and small, pool tables, video games, basketball, food, liquor and nightly entertainment.

The only thing missing are those computer trivia games you can play at your table. There are plenty of items on the menu for less than $10, but I’m convinced the best are the wraps. You can get a chicken club, veggie or pork wrap and they come with fries or coleslaw.

The wraps come stuffed with fresh greens, juicy tomatoes and dressings and they hit the spot.

They’re also low on carbs—that is, if you order them without the fries.
